With the support of our parent company, Jerry Sapp Timber Co., established in 1978, we bring over 45 years of industry experience to every job. We proudly offer expert logging and whole tree chipping services throughout Northwest Florida and the surrounding areas. Who We Are

Legacy in Logging

Our company was founded by a fourth generation logger who used his solid work ethic and extensive understanding of timber harvesting and business management to grow from a small scale operation to a large efficient corporation. In the 40+ years since our inception, we have expanded to include four full-time microchipping crews, one dedicated logging crew, and a fleet of over 25 trucks servicing areas within 75 mile radius of Cottondale, FL. Although we have grown since our incorporation in 1978, Jerry Sapp Timber Co and Sapp's Land & Excavating, Inc. have not forgotten our smalltown values of integrity, reliability, and honest service.

Our company was founded on family values, and remains a family affair. Our founder, Jerry Sapp, still works daily to ensure business continues as usual, while his son, Jeremy Sapp, is heavily involved in business networking, fleet management, and logistics. Jerry's wife, Sharon Sapp, and their daughter, Sharon Steelfox, streamline office operations, on-boarding, and accounting. Other valued members of the organization essential to operations are Mary Scott (Administration) and Blake Mixon (Forester).
